Meg Koenig | Salty Muse
I built Salty Muse because I couldn't find a container that could hold all of me — the sacred and the profane, the brilliant and the feral, the decorated and the collapsed. So I became the container.
I am a woman who has lived many lifetimes in one. I have worked at the edge of the known world. I have loved wildly, rebuilt from nothing, chosen the unknown over and over again, and found my way home every time. Not because I had a map. But because I eventually learned to trust the one inside my own body. That's what I'm here to help you do.
This is mentorship that finds the mentor already living inside you. The goal is never dependency. It is radical self resourcing — building your capacity to return to yourself, again and again, long after our work together ends.
I am not the destination. You are.
Through the Seven Gateways to Self-Realization — and the practices of somatic awareness, hypnotherapy, sacred rage, and radical play — I help you enter into council with your own wisdom. The part of you that knew before the world talked you out of it. The part that holds complexity without flinching. The part that has already seen how this ends and is not afraid. I will walk with you until you can hear yourself again.
Heart wide open is not a vulnerability. It is the only protection that matters.
I work at the intersection of the body, mythology, and the nervous system — guiding people back to the simplest, truest version of themselves. I honor the nervous system as a wise oracle, calming its chaos, reading its signals, and helping it feel safe enough to invite what's next. I believe transformation doesn't happen when we force it. It happens when we feel safe enough to lean into the confusion, the sadness, the not-yet-knowing — and stay.
My approach weaves together somatic awareness, subconscious reprogramming, guided journeying, breath-centered yogic wisdom, and the ancient technologies of Astrology, Human Design, and the Gene Keys. It is grounded, curious, and deeply personal. I am currently training in Sacred Rage with Maya Luna of the Deep Feminine Mystery School — an initiation into the lifeforce energy of embodied anger as a pathway to self-love, healing, empowerment, and magic. This body of work lives at the heart of what I offer.
Before stepping into this work I spent over a decade managing high-level projects across construction, corporate productivity, and wedding planning. I know how to hold complexity, create structure, and bring big visions to life — and I bring those same skills to helping others navigate their inner worlds, with equal parts care, intuition, and precision. My early work alongside David Allen — creator of Getting Things Done — sparked a lasting understanding that we get more done when we slow down, breathe, feel, and play. I hold a degree in Commercial Recreation Management from Penn State University and have been playing my way sane since 2002. I am a 200-hour registered yoga teacher trained at Soul of Yoga in Encinitas, and a devoted student of the Gene Keys, Human Design, and Astrology.
Between 2011 and 2014 I immersed myself in the vibrant yoga community of Ojai, California. That time cracked me open. It aligned the inner architecture of my path and catalyzed the creation of Salty Muse — a living temple of remembrance, resonance, and radical play.
Radical inward remembrance and reclamation await.
